Glass - Mirrors Scoring

Depending on the application need for glass scoring, Fletcher offers a number of different methods including the 3000 Multi-Material Cutter for straight line scoring, Oval and Circle Scoring, or our industrial grade hand-held glass cutters.

For automated glass scoring, visit our line of products found in Automated Glass Cutting section.

Application Tip – Lighter the score, the better the glass break-out.

The general rule of thumb is lighter the score, the better the breakout. A good quality cut edge can be attained at break-out only if a proper fissure was made by the scoring wheel.

The fissure which will yield a good, clean and strong edge is practically invisible when the glass surface is viewed. A good fissure will reflect light and appear as a continuous narrow band of light.
